The Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) has been created in 1944 and reorganized in 1977. Its major role is the orgnization and the promotion of film industry in Morocco and the looking after the application of all legislation and regulation concerning this field.
The CCM issues the following :
Practice permits, for the benefit of film producers and distributors (cinema and video), as well as for the benefit of film exhibitors and owners of video clubs,
Film shooting permits,
Professional identity cards,
Film exploiting certificate.
 
The CCM set up some actions and structures that can facilitate to the film makers, the obtention of all required permits within the alloted time, and offer an efficacious professional assistance.
This can be expressed in the following terms :
Simplification of the administrative procedures concerning the shooting permits as well as every other permit,
Customs facilities : The transit operations for temporary importation of different shooting equipment are carried on by the Moroccan Cinematographic Center and covered by its moral quarantee,
Possibility of hiring shooting equipment and vehicles.
